How to link your Telegram account to receive trade alerts from the Coinrule bot.
Coinrule can send trade alerts directly to your Telegram account via the Coinrule bot, covering the same events as email alerts. Setup takes under a minute: connect Telegram in Settings → Notifications, start the bot in Telegram, then opt in on individual strategies using the bell icon.
How do I set up Telegram alerts?
- Go to Settings → Notifications.
- Click Connect Telegram. A deep link to the Coinrule Telegram bot opens.
- In Telegram, click Start on the bot. This binds your Telegram account to your Coinrule account.
- Enable Telegram alerts in Settings → Notifications.
- On each strategy you want Telegram alerts for, click the bell icon and enable Telegram.
What is the delivery latency?
Telegram alerts are dispatched by a cron job that runs approximately every 60 seconds. Expect up to ~1 minute of latency between a trade and the message arriving.
What does a Telegram alert include?
Each alert includes the strategy name, trade side (Buy/Sell), symbol, and P&L for closes. The exact content depends on the event type.
How do I disconnect Telegram?
To unlink your Telegram account, go to Settings → Notifications → Disconnect Telegram.
