Connect Claude to Coinrule
Step-by-step guide to connect Claude (Anthropic) to your Coinrule account with MCP, so Claude can trade, read balances, and build strategies for you.
Claude supports remote MCP connectors, so you can connect it to Coinrule in about a minute. Once connected, Claude can list your strategies, read your portfolio, and — with write access — launch and manage trades on your behalf.
Add Coinrule as a Claude connector
Open Claude's connector settings
In Claude, go to the settings area where custom connectors / MCP servers are managed and choose to add a new remote MCP connector.
Enter the Coinrule MCP URL
Paste the Coinrule MCP server URL:
https://cloud.coinrule.com/mcpSign in with Coinrule
Claude opens a Coinrule sign-in window. Log in with your normal Coinrule account. Authentication happens on Coinrule's side over OAuth — Claude never sees your password or exchange API keys.
Choose Read only or Read + Write
Pick Read only to let Claude inspect your account, or Read + Write to let it create, launch, and manage strategies. See scopes and permissions.
Confirm the connection
Back in Claude, ask something like "List my Coinrule strategies" to confirm the tools are available.
Try it
Once connected, try:
- "Show my Coinrule bots and how each is doing."
- "How much USDT do I have on Binance?"
- "Launch the layer-1 basket with $500 on paper trading." (requires Read + Write)
More ideas in example prompts.
Start on paper
If you want to see Claude launch a strategy without risking funds, ask it to use a paper venue such as paper_binance. See paper trading.
Managing the connection
Your Claude connection appears in Settings → Integrations, where you can revoke it at any time. If Claude ever loses access or you want to change the access level, remove the connector and add it again.
If the connection fails, see troubleshooting.
