Hyperliquid

Connect Hyperliquid to Coinrule using an agent wallet.

Updated 2026-05-29·1 min read

Hyperliquid is a decentralised exchange (DEX) with on-chain perpetuals. Connection uses a wallet signature, not an API key.

How do I connect Hyperliquid?

What is an agent wallet?

Enable these permissions

  • Connect your walletMetaMask, Rabby, Phantom, or Coinbase Wallet.
  • Sign the agent approval messagecreates a dedicated trading key - your main wallet stays untouched.

Notes

  • The agent can trade, not withdraw

How does the agent wallet work?

Coinrule generates a dedicated hot wallet for trading. You sign a message from your main wallet authorising the agent wallet to trade on your behalf. The agent wallet can place and cancel orders but cannot withdraw funds — your funds stay in your Hyperliquid account.

For institutional setups, vault delegation is also supported.

Which markets are supported?

All perpetuals listed on Hyperliquid: BTC, ETH, SOL, and a wide range of altcoins.

How are funding rates handled?

Hyperliquid charges a funding rate on open perpetual positions. Funding is deducted directly from your on-chain account — Coinrule does not manage this.
