Free trial

How the optional free trial works, what it includes, and what happens at the end.

Updated 2026-05-29·2 min read

Coinrule's free trial gives you full access to a paid plan's features — agents, exchanges, and credits — without requiring a credit card upfront. The trial runs until it expires; at the end, you either continue on the paid plan or drop back to the Free tier automatically.

How does the trial work?

Coinrule may offer a free trial of a paid plan when you sign up. Trial availability and duration are configured by the Coinrule team — if a trial is available, you'll see it during the signup or plan-selection flow.

During the trial you get full access to the plan's limits (agents, exchanges, credits) without providing a credit card upfront.

What happens at the end of the trial?

When the trial ends:

  • If you've added a payment method: you're automatically charged for the next billing period on the selected plan.
  • If you have not added a payment method: your account drops to the Free plan (1 paper agent, no live trading).

Active live strategies that exceed the Free plan limits will be paused, but not deleted. Your data and trade history are preserved.

How do I add a payment method during the trial?

Settings → Plan & Billing → choose your plan → enter card details. This does not charge you immediately; it charges at the end of the trial period.

How do I cancel during the trial?

Cancel via Settings → Plan & Billing → Manage. Your trial ends and you move to the Free plan. No charge.
