Free trial

When the Coinrule team offers a free trial, it gives you the full limits of a paid plan — agents, exchanges, credits, and backtests — for a set number of days before the first charge. Checkout asks for a payment method and starts the trial from there. You are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.

How does the trial work?

Coinrule may offer a free trial of a paid plan when you sign up. Trial availability and duration are configured by the Coinrule team — if a trial is available, you'll see it during the signup or plan-selection flow, and the exact length is shown in checkout.

When a trial is offered, it applies to every self-serve plan — Investor, Trader, and Pro — and its length is set by the Coinrule team (shown in the checkout flow), not fixed per plan.

A payment method is required to start the trial. It is stored by Stripe and is not charged until the trial ends.

If no trial is available, checkout charges for the plan you selected straight away and your subscription starts immediately.

What happens at the end of the trial?

When the trial ends:

• Your payment method is charged for the next billing period of the plan you selected, and your subscription continues.
• If you cancelled before the trial ended, no charge is made. You keep access until the trial's end date, and then your account continues on the access it holds outside this subscription: the Free plan, or an inherited plan if you have one (see Inherited plans).

Live agents that exceed the limits of the plan your account continues on stop running; they are not deleted, and your data and trade history are preserved.

How do I change my payment method during the trial?

Settings → Plan & Billing → Manage → Update payment method. The card entered at checkout is already on file, and changing it does not charge you before the trial ends.

How do I cancel during the trial?

Cancel via Settings → Plan & Billing → Manage. Your trial ends on its end date with no charge. After that, your account continues on the access it holds outside this subscription — the Free plan, or an inherited plan if you have one.
